Alone with two toddlers all day – why this learning tower has truly changed our daily life

There are children’s products you buy and forget about after a few weeks. And then there are things that quietly become part of everyday life. That was the case for us with this 3-in-1 learning tower.

What our daily life looked like back then

Today my twin boys are four years old. I bought the learning tower when they were about two – at a time when I was often home alone with both during the day.

My husband was often at work, and daily life just went on: making breakfast, tidying the kitchen, laundry, toys, washing hands, cutting fruit. With two toddlers, rarely just one thing happens at a time.

If one wanted to see what I was doing on the countertop, the other immediately wanted to climb up too. If one wanted to help, the other naturally wanted to be involved as well. That’s when I realized: I don’t need something just to keep them busy – I need something that really makes our daily life easier.

Why I was looking for something like this

It was important to me that it’s not just exciting for a short time. Especially with twins, you think more carefully about what really should stay – especially when space is limited.

I wanted something both children could use, that fits into our daily routine and doesn’t have just one single function. It should be safe, feel sturdy, and ideally stay interesting for more than just a few months.

What has changed for us

Many things for children are interesting at first and then disappear from everyday life. For us, it was different. I bought the learning tower when my twins were two. Today they are four – and it is still being used.

At first, it was mainly standing at eye level that they loved. Later, the table became more important. Today they draw there, look at books, or quietly occupy themselves together. And the slide is still a little extra that always brings joy.

That’s exactly why it’s still with us: not only because it looks good, but because it has changed with the children and really become part of our daily life.
