This baby crib is a versatile sleeping furniture with different usage options.
The recommended age indication is not based solely on chronological age but on the type of use and the individual development of the child.

👶 Usage Type 1: Classic Baby Crib (Crib with bars – fully enclosed)

Suitable for:

From birth

For babies who lie down, roll over, sit, or pull themselves up on the bars

Safe use until:

The child cannot yet climb over or out of the bars independently

Important notes:

The mattress base must be lowered according to the child’s development

Once the child starts actively climbing, the crib must no longer be used as a barred crib

Risk of incorrect use:

Risk of falling by climbing over the bars

Prevention:

Lower the mattress base to the lowest level in time

Stop using as a barred crib as soon as climbing attempts occur

👶➡️🧒 Usage Type 2: Low Bed with Bars (Transition phase)

Suitable for:

Babies in advanced developmental stages

When the child can stand but does not yet climb over the bars

Usage note:

This phase is only a short-term transitional solution

Increased adult supervision is required

Risk of incorrect use:

Falling out or climbing with increasing mobility

Prevention:

Limit the duration of use

Regularly check if the child develops new motor skills

🧒 Usage Type 3: Open Use (one side of bars removed – sofa/child bed mode)

Suitable for:

Only for toddlers who:

Can get in and out independently

Have sufficient motor control

⚠️ Important:

This usage type is not a baby crib according to EN 716

Not suitable for unsupervised sleep of infants or babies

Risk of incorrect use:

Falling out

Injuries from uncontrolled standing up or playing

Prevention:

Use only under supervision

Do not place the bed near windows, furniture, or hard edges

🛏️ Mattress & Accessory Notes (all usage types)

Use only properly fitting mattresses

No gaps should exist between mattress and bed frame

Do not use additional pillows, bumpers, blankets, or cushions

⚠️ These can serve as stepping aids or increase the risk of suffocation

🔧 General Safety Instructions

Regularly check and tighten screws and connections

Do not place the bed near curtains, cables, or window sills

Packaging materials (e.g., plastic bags) are not toys
